Possible online services disruption due to Internet related outage

A worldwide technology outage is causing disruption to some State of Illinois online systems.  We are aware of this issue and are diligently working on restoration.

The Smart Grid Advisory Council (“SGAC”) has been established by the Illinois General Assembly pursuant to Article 220, Section 5/16-108.6 of the Illinois Compiled Statutes and consists of stakeholders for the purposes of advising and working with participating utilities on the development and implementation of a Smart Grid Advanced Metering Infrastructure Deployment Plan.  For more background concerning the SGAC, see Sections 16-108.5 through 16-108.8 of the Public Utilities Act (220 ILCS 5/16-108.5 through 16-108.8), available with the remainder of Article XVI of the Public Utilities Act on the website of the Illinois General Assembly.  More information concerning the current membership of the Smart Grid Advisory Council is available on the page dedicated to the SGAC at appointments.illinois.gov.
